Tamara has extensive international experience across the financial services sector. She has lived and worked in several countries and has held senior positions in a number of large multi-national organisation. She began her career in Melbourne where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Over the subsequent 25 years she has worked in Continental Europe, the UK, the US and most recently in Singapore. During her time in the UK she also worked on successful projects for the Home Office in Youth Criminal Justice.
Her global experience allows her to bring a uniquely wide lens to her role. Tamara’s expertise in capital markets, risk management, corporate governance, accounting, taxation and public policy helps support her role on the Finance Investment & Audit Committee.
Tamara hopes her Board and Committee work will help MCM in its mission to create new possibilities for those facing disadvantage in our community.
She is married and has three children.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Australia and NZ, Tamara also holds an Executive Masters degree in individual and organisational psychology (EMCC) from INSEAD.
