About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work in an innovation project with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. Living Learning is a program designed to support young people who have been dis-engaged form education and are experiencing mental health conditions. The program delivers a range of supports, including case coordination, clinical therapeutic interventions, education interventions and outdoor adventure experiences.


The Administration Officer supports the Living Learning program to ensure the provision of high level administrative and reporting support to the leadership and program teams. The position will be based at the South Melbourne office, with occasional travel to other MCM and Hester Hornbrook sites.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can work alongside educators, allied health workers and youth workers to assist with the delivery of the program.
  • Is excited about working in a multi-disciplinary team to find innovative new ways of working.
  • has demonstrated experience in providing administration supports in a social services setting.
  • Has excellent organisational and administration skills.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in providing administrative support to teams, including experience with clients with complex presentations and vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to travel to other offices within MCM and Hester Hornbrook’s portfolio.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills with ability to complete tasks with pressing timeframes.

  • Working with Children check or ability to obtain
  • Valid Victorian Drivers license
  • Right to Work in Australia
