About the Opportunity

As our Learning Business Partner, you’ll support the development of key L&D deliverables. This is a max term contract of 6 months which can 4 or 5 days per week. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned L&D contractor or an experienced professional who wants to bring their commercial business acumen, orientation to delivering and L&D skills to a for-purpose organisation. 

About you

During your 6-month contract you can expect to:

  • Develop our Manager Induction Checklist and supporting resources
  • Work on the Induction and Onboarding Program changes
  • Kick off our Frontline Leaders offering which is a combination of internal and insourced facilitators
  • Develop our Supervision eLearning training offer
  • Develop rapid eLearning modules in response to learning needs
  • Coordinate our Case Review program consulting with speakers

Essential:

We are open to candidates based across both Melbourne Metro and Regional Victoria, with the requirements of attending onsite once per week in South Melbourne. We’re hoping to find someone with an L&D background who excels in the following:

  • Experience designing and delivering front line leadership and onboarding programs
  • Can integrate themselves quickly into a new organisation for the needs of the contract
  • Exceptional project management who can operate with flexibility to create solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Comfortable developing rapid eLearning using Rise, HowToo, Canva, Clipchamp or similar
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of how digital learning is used as part of blended learning offers
  • Resilient in receiving feedback on work, applying it and moving forward
  • Experience working in a small team where you work end to end on projects
  • Strong alignment with our values of Curious, Together, Accountable, Courageous and Open.

  3. Experience designing and implementing specifically with Frontline Leadership and Induction and Onboarding offers
  4. Experience writing instructional content and materials (eLearning, Job Aids, Checklists, Presentations etc) 

Facilitation experience isn’t required, this role is mostly instructional design, consultation, implementation and content writing. Our team includes a Learning & Content Coordinator who manages our LMS and events calendar, so your focus can be on the design and development. 

Screening Criteria:

  • National Police check
  • Working with Children check and NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain
  • Valid Victorian Drivers license
  • Right to Work in Australia
