You’re never too young to make a difference. We love getting children in primary and secondary school involved in inciting positive change and spreading the word about important causes in the community.
If you’d like to get your school involved with MCM, there are a few ways you can do it.
One of the best ways to help us here at MCM is by fundraising. Through fundraising with community groups and schools just like yours, we’re able to continue our work and promote positive change.
Every single donation, no matter how large or small, help us transform the lives of people in your community in a massive way.
There’s no better way to raise awareness and funds than by getting people together for an exciting event. You can pretty much do anything you like, but here are a few of our favourites:
Give up that comfy bed for a night and join your classmates for a sleep over at the school. Get friends and family to sponsor you for your efforts.
Getting to spend the day in your PJs at work or school is really the dream, and now you can do it knowing you’re helping people in need.
PJs not your thing? Pick a theme and get everyone to dress up.
Break a leg and donate the admission fees to a great cause.

Want to learn more about youth homelessness? Secondary schools are welcome to request an education session at Frontyard which provides teachers and students in-depth information on the realities of homelessness, as well as learn about the supports available at our centre.
