Art group volunteer

Summary

Melbourne City Mission Community Friend Program (CFP) is recruiting further Volunteers to facilitate an Art Group for 2025 in Melbourne’s North (Coburg). CFP supports adult participants (18-64 years old), who are living with a mild disability or mental health diagnosis. The art sessions will be held at a co-working space in Brunswick East.

The art group currently sees 3 participants living with a mild to moderate disability and/or mental health issue. This includes physical, intellectual, psychiatric, sensory disability, acquired brain injury, and mental health (psychosocial).
The co-working space is open, friendly and the program has a locked cabinet provided for materials and storage on site.

Art sessions run once a month on the 4th Saturday, 11am - 1pm.

We do not specifically require artists to volunteer with the group. If you love being around art expression and encouraging others to get involved during the sessions – this is the role for you.!
