MCM is proud to announce that we've been recognised as a Diversity Data Leader.
This certification has been awarded to MCM, by Diversity Atlas and recognises our commitment to diversity, inclusion and well-being in our workplace.
We surveyed our workforce asking them for the first time about their lived experience on a broad range of diversity markers. We were really excited that over 50% of our paid workforce responded to the survey, which showed us really high levels of trust and engagement within the organisation.
Gaining an understanding of the diversity of our workforce is foundational to what we do. It allows us to celebrate and recognise the differences of the people that work for MCM. By recognising diversity and having a diverse workforce, we're able to better reflect and support the communities that we work with.
The survey results revealed that the MCM workforce comes from 33 countries of birth, speak 77 different language and dialects, and are from 91 ancestral groups.
We also now understand so much more about our people's lived experience, including the proportion that have experienced mental ill-health, those that are neurodivergent, and those that consider themselves LGBTQIA+.
By aligning our workforce and demographics with those of our client groups, we can ensure that our services are not only inclusive, but are also deeply empathetic and relevant.
