    National Reconciliation Week at MCM

    National Reconciliation Week 2 June 2020

    Education and sustained conversations are important to progressing Reconciliation in Australia. MCM was honoured to experience the stories and perspectives during National Reconciliation Week with a special webcast hosted by MCM CEO Vicki Sutton. 

    The special webcast featured a deeply moving smoking ceremony and welcome to country by Aunty Di Kerr, and original songs sung by Maylene Slater-Burns. MCM staff were reminded that Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians and at the heart of this journey are relationships between the broader Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islands peoples.
