The Melbourne City Mission L2P Program is a community-based program that supports young people who face significant barriers to completing 120 hours of on-road driving experience.
The program is supported by trained volunteer mentors.
The goal is for you to gain extensive on-road experience to build your skills and confidence.
You are matched with trained volunteer mentors who support you to gain 120 hours of supervised driving.
The volunteer mentors are given comprehensive training by The Department of Transport and Planning and undergo mandatory checks with MCM to provide a quality program for young people.
Eligible young people are offered a minimum of one hour of supervised driving each week.
The program is funded by TAC and managed by the Victorian Government.
