Reporting to the Head of Human Resources this position plays a critical role in supporting the Hester Hornbrook Academy an entity of the Melbourne City Mission Group. The position provides high-quality HR and ER leadership and to the Hester Hornbrook Academy team and Executive Principle to build strategic workforce capacity. This role will partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of Hester Hornbrook Academy. The successful applicant will offer thought leadership regarding organisational and people-related strategy and execution. The role will support, mentor and coach leaders on performance management, disciplinary issues and investigations.
The Business Partner will provide whole of school focused, people leadership and practical interpretation of employment legislation, participate in EBA negotiations and provide tailored advice specific to an educational environment
