Team Leader - CIAO Program

About the Opportunity

This position provides a great opportunity for the successful candidate who is established or an emerging leader in the youth services, Out of Home Care (OoHC) and Targeted Care Package (TCP) areas. The role involves practice innovation, leading teams and developing case management and accommodation responses for young people aged 16-18, who are transitioning from the care system to CIAO lead tenant supported accommodation. The other arm of the program is TCP's which are tailored supports developed around individual young people aged 12-18. All of our young people are on Child Protection Orders, so we work closely with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).

About you

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Ensure the provision of high quality, solutions-focused whole of person services to all young people in the program 
  • Identify, implement and oversee innovation and growth within the program
  • Provide high quality leadership, formal and informal supervision, support and development for staff and volunteers
  • Ensure targets are met or a proactive plan is developed to meet targets

Essential:

  • Bachelor level qualification 
  • Extensive experience working with young people
  • Experience working with Child Protection and Out of Home Care systems
  • Experience supervision staff

Screening Criteria:

  • National Police check
  • Working with Children check and NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain
  • Valid Victorian Drivers license
  • Right to Work in Australia
